I agee, and would also like the sidetone volume separately adjustable from the spot volume. If I have the sidetone at a reasonable level with headphones on, I can hardly hear the spot tone. 73, Gary W7TEA Bud Morin wrote: If I turn the AF volume up to hear a weak signal, I don't want the

There is a CONFIG value that adjusts overall AF gain - its called AF GAIN and can be set to Lo or Hi - but this just affects the overall range of all af gain (and side tone I think), I found the default of Lo was to low and set mine to Hi. However, as someone else posted, to 'adjust' side

Bruce, While in CW mode, hold the MON knob for 1 second. This will display the monitor or side tone level. Twist the knob to your desired setting and send away. I hope this helps. Mike N8XPQ Bruce McLaughlin-2 wrote: I am still having trouble with the rather low audio level of the side

Charles, The parts for the sidetone waveshape mod are included with the KATOBKT from Elecraft. The values differ slightly from those in the original sidetone waveshape mod, but both work - still not a pure sinewave, but much closer than before. You should consider doing the complete A to B
