I finally bought the JBL Control 2, and I want to report back to the group
what I´ve found out so far.
The sound is excellent. I had to find a sweet spot and fiddle with the
volume control on the speaker to get rid of hiss and noise and I was able to

I do not have direct experience with the speakers mentioned in your post, but I
use a pair of JBL Control 2 powered studio monitors. They are very accurate
and, perhaps most importantly, do not seem to radiate detectable RF (or be
susceptible to it).
The West Mountain Radio powered COMspkrs are wonderful. No RFI problems at all.

I've posted this a year ago but want to repeat. Probably an over kill but I
run the K3
i picked up several motorola hands free kits...for the k2
for under 3$ each ...shippedthey have a 2x6 WATT amp inside..
just reconnectorize , apply 12 vdc.( alot of current) and stand back
even has a regulated 6.25out
