has repeatedly stated they expect something between 3 to 5w
output. I know nothing about the Flex6700 (does it run with 1mw
output?). Most of the RF modules used in radios require something
like 20mw (+13 dBm)

That 5 volts at KPA100 U4 pin 11 comes from the base K2 - Control Board
U6 pin 24 (and the pullup resistor pins 3 and 4 of RP7).
I suspect CB U6 pin 24 may be shorted.
Since you have 2 K2s, you might try swapping the firmware between them
and see if the problem follows the firmware.
It looks like D36 and D37 on the SWR Bridge on the K3 RF Board are no longer
functioning. Kaput.

Where are these diodes located on the board?
Are they Surface Mount? If so, can they be changed to regular diodes
What are the parameters of these diodes?
Can I still operate the rig?
I know the KX3 was not designed for AM but has anybody had any success with
it.My experience is no problems with receiving but poor audio on Transmit.Any
comments from Elecraft or the Group would be much appreciated!?? I do have need

When I turn off the P3 and then turn it back on again I lose all my settings.
They revert to the factory settings. It doesn't do it every time but maybe
half the time. Seems to be getting worse.
It's a pain resetting the parameters I want after this happens.
