Doug, I have doubts that the toroid for L33 has been changed. C174 should be 82pF - call support to get a proper capacitor. Do not remove turns from L33. The BFO should come into range with those values. Check the high and low frequencies before doing anything else. 73, Don W3FPR On

Can I wire a K3s to a KAT500 via AUXBUS cable, then RCA cable from KAT500 to AL-811H amplifier for PTT, and will the KAT break the PTT line if the SWR is above the configured value in the KAT? I don't want to test this as the AL-811H has no built-in protections. Thanks for your help! 73 Eric
