Dave, You were just above the noise level and a guy on 3778 was splattering all
over you. I think the guys that were on 3775 moved up there.
Oh, well.

At 855pm ET, the frequency is now clear. I'll listen for a bit after
9pm to see if it stays that way.
I'll give a couple of calls, if you want to check out the path at this time.

Looks like tonight's 80 meter net is a bust.
The time change moved it to 8pm ET, but the folks that occupy 3775
just before our net apparently are on local time, instead of UTC, so
there wasn't a clear frequency there or 10 kHz either side.
I did try calling a few times on adjacent

Having just trawled through the HTML file to create a stylesheet to
override the colors, there are at least twenty-five different
elements/classes with color choices. Some are redundant, and some span more
than one purpose. I'm also not sure what system they are using to edit the

Our regular net control Eric WB9JNZ was unable to join us today as he was
focused on the upcoming QTH move. With less than stellar conditions on 20
meters 27 check ins were logged. Relay stations were once again a tremendous
help. Thanks to Steve WM6P, Bill AE6JV, Roger N4NRW, and Phil NS7P
Is there a full operating manual for the K4? I can only find the Introduction
manual and the pdf version of the built in help file. The latter is white text
on a black background which is difficult to print without using a ton of toner

Worked them the other day with my Kx2 but to a random wire. Did it while
on the job--called for several hours, But very satisfying.
Plus it seems that they have very good operation.

My K3S died a couple of weeks ago and I haven't found the power supply
problem yet - difficult tracing as I don't have the board trace layout
so finding components off the schematic isn't easy, LOL.
On a lighter not, I replaced it as the shack rig with my KX2 and I've
been having a blast
