would like to try other digital modes such as RTTY or PSK. I haven't heard the
K2 without the SSB module so I'm not sure how to compare the filters, but the

I'd say its better to build the K2 as-is first, then add the modules one at a
time. It's far easier to trouble shoot if you have any problems going along
without the otherstuff already changed. With a good solder sucker it doesn't
take long at all to remove whatever components necessary.

of your choice and then put the ends you want on it. This way, you get

Radio and a bag full of APP's at Dayton this year. So far they seem to

and they were able to process it. My card is a full color QSL. You
might want to see what they can do for you. They were pretty friendly

1. Buy

can't remember, but are all the pins used on the special cable that
connects the KIO2 to the computer? If not, then eight pins are plenty.

turned out to be a small sliver of wire jammed underneath pins 3 and 5
of the AUX2 PCBoard. It was actually under the plastic part of the

I just finished putting together my KX1 with the ATU. I am having a problem
with it on 20m when using it through my shack tuner (viking matchbox to a
dipole up 60-70 ft). As the manual states, I place the tuner into CAL to bypass
the tuner. The problem is that it seems kind of quiet.

Also, I have a 13.8 volt supply connected, 3 watts sounds a bit low?
