What is " comocon " and why would I need it with NaP3 and my KX3 just to view

Hi Ed.
When the other fellow (sorry, just went blank on his name) said u need a good
sound card, he was right, mostly. The better the soundcard the better nap3 will
work. However, when I first started - say, the first 3 months or so, I used the
soundcard built into my Old Dell D620 laptop
Dave,
Haven't used a Timewave 599zx with a K3, and only for a half hour or
so with my KX3.
However, I did use the 599zx with an older non-DSP radio for over a

Hi Nick.
I've traveled with my KX3 and various accessories on a dozen or more
flights, both domestic (around the USA) and into several European
countries.
Here's a synopsis of the results and best practices derived therefrom.

I drive my KPA500 with a KX3. The KPA 500 has the January release firmware
(sorry I don't have the number and I'm not at my QTH).
I generally have the tuner in the KX3 disabled because it should be when
running throught the KPA500, and isn't needed when operating directly into
my resonant fan
