Sadly, for me, this list is almost unbearable to sift through.

This is unique Reflector..
I counted up all of the many messages I have received, and it seems that the
majority of the messages received on this reflector
the bearings with CaiLube M260Cp
conductive grease and wow... talk about a miracle cure! CaiLube rocks!
The sierra is now perfectly rock stable. zero drift (nada). Like new.
I think I may pull out my Harvey Wells Bandmaster and repack it's bearings
too.. ;)

and they have not self destructed in the
slightest so they appear to be reasonably durable even though they are just
plastic and the cord is thin.

Phil,
They are stereo phones meant for multimedia entertainment so yes they do
pass tones in the 100-200 Hz region.
Worth mentioning is that a simple homebrewed inline filter should easily
cure that (for any headphone set).

and the docs say that it generates little heat
until 70% load, so I _guess_ the fan would not run very often below 38 amps.
I know of a Broadcast engineer K6AER in Colorado who happily uses a DPS-75
(13.8VDC 75 amp) for all his 13.8V ham radio needs. So it is probably
pretty clean.

Only a comment on the NB
I can only get my NB to make a difference when certain kinds of noise are
exposed to it. The click igniter on my gas stove makes a noise that the
blanker can noticeably reduce. However a stick blender and a sewing machine
do not. I am convinced that the blanker works
I sure like my MH2 (athough it rarely gets any action). I guess it's value
just went up ;) not for sale! I can't imagine how it could be
improved.

Yes
I gave it some thought because I was equally surprised (and disturbed) and
concluded that I should have looked into it deeper. In hind site, I beleive
that had I dialed the RF gain back a little on the R4C last night, it would
have made a world of difference. The truth of what I
when I switch to the 200 Hz
filter. The manual says the filter is designed down to 250 hz so I think
that I should be just a tad better than what I am.How far down in db is
the filter bandwidth measured ? (I seem to recall it is 6 db?)

the top)

I am thinking that there is probably some central theme that is afoot
causing all this difficulty.
I will find it soon enough..But maybe someone has some insight to speed
things along..
Any ideas?

iron is hot, the Optivisors are on
my head ready to be used. Here in AZ I have to be careful if I walk
outdoors with them flipped up (HI). Twice now they caught the sun while
sitting on the kitchen table and I have the burn marks to prove it!
