, it's a reach, but it's all I've got at the moment.
Any thoughts/suggestions? I can try operating without the ATU and use my
outboard tuner. But I figured as long as I've got the tuner, I'd like to
use it.
With best regards,
Pete

discussion. Twenty meters looks a bit lower, but still in the ballpark?
The good news: Nothing exceeds the maximum in the instructions!
Thanks in advance for a final bit of hand-holding!

How much higher?
I got a reading of about 38.9 ma. The various voltage checks all were
fine, between 4.8 and 5 vdc. So I presume those are OK. It's the current
measurement that I'm a bit concerned about.
Any thoughts, other than I need to chill? ;-)

Many thanks to all! My original question was prompted by an experience
I had as a teenager visiting my uncle in the mid 1960s (oops, the gray
hairs are showing). I was working in his garage, using a metal-housed
foundation. But there may
be a more elegant approach.
I'd be grateful for any guidance!
