For DX and net, I use an old D104 Silver Eagle with a W2ENY element and get good audio reports. For rag chewing, I use a Heil PR77D and run ESSB. EQ settings for both mics are set at 0dB. I like the D104 better. Dean KD3ANX __ Elecraft

Heil HC-4 headset (the mic has a rising characteristic at 2500 Hz) on a K3s. Using the Heil Kenwood adapter on the front Mic jack, with a Heil footswitch plugged into the inline 1/4" jack. The headset audio has a 1/8" stereo plug, so it plugs into the rear headphone jack. Mic settings
