Hi Don,   Thanks for the recommendations and comments.  Both the KXPA utility and the KX3 utility communicate fine with my hardware setup.  I'm guessing the WIn4K3 Suite does not properly communicate with both devices through one com port.  I'll see if I can post on their groups.io forum and
