So, I finally got the decks cleared a bit, and want to work
on the 64-bit issues
in the Pico ppmc driver. I got the amd64-r13 installed and
running, after some network issues.
I immediately saw there were problems handling conversion to
scaled position.

works, but I forgot, that tk has different screen orientation, so position is
odd. But position overriding from window-manager works, so now it works as
wanted.

I have a desktop with increased font size. When I start linuxcnc (configuration
selector), it comes up with the buttons outside the visible area.
To me it looks like the minimal size of the listbox is bigger than the entire
