ETSI 300 330 uses the term H Field Strength Density - which I have not come
across before. It appears to mean the H field strength measured in a particular
resolution bandwidth on the spectrum analyser.

I agree the gallons per minute rating for air compressors seems odd, but
when one looks at adverts in the USA for compressors with storage tanks, the
tanks themselves are sizes in gallons (30 Gal, 50 Gal. etc..). If the
compressor flow is sized in gallons per minute, then the customer gets some
/developments to the electronics, market areas product
is to be sold etc.
The greater the 'margin' at the initial product certification will generally
help during production audits and future product enhancements.

CENELEC have finally decided to go into print to explain that EN61000-4-3
and EN61000-4-6 should be used instead of their relevant ENVs. Even though
(as previously explained) they did not need to do this - least it will clear
up any misunderstanding people may have !
