the market place - legitimatley - that FAIL by upwards of 20dB what
direction would you go in:
a) Status quo
b) relaxation of the limits
c) elemination of the limits

research in this area. I Tried (with KenJavor)
to turn a large shield room into a emissions facility.
The not so obvious con is that you get NO directional
or polarization (if I remember right) info at all so
debugging can be problematical.

Hi - Quite a while ago, in the 80's I think
W.M King published some papers that demonstrated the
differences in the ESD waveforms in rise times as the
voltage increased. So an ESD pulse of 2kV would occupy

It is my undersyand that the Dell VP position does

are STRICTLY controlled you could conciveably get as much
as 8 db variation between sites.

I recall a connection between with the Class A
emissions being coupled to the Heavy Industrial
Immunity standard.
My old company shipped with Class A emissions and
024 as the immunity. We based our decision on our
installed base prior to the EU having acceptable

We have multiple WIFI devices in a lab and we need to suppress the RF
signals (NOT EMI) to reduce the interference from affecting other WIFI
areas of the building.
