Hello,
I am trying to setup emc on linux kernel 2.6.28.9 with rtai-3.7.1
I've tested RTAI with the /usr/realtime/testsuite/kern/latency/run
script and it seems to work.
I've compiled emc from the git repository.
Running emc gives the following trace:
EMC2 - 2.4.0~pre

I was able to build a panel this afternoon that uses the widget, it
works on screen, but how do I connect it (or other analog controls) to
the HAL?
I assume you mean the pvVCP Jogwheel control?
That looks OK too.
Like I said earlier, we rely on gcc doing a particular thing even though
gcc doesn't absolutely guarantee it.
It looks like gcc is doing something else on your system, though we've
eliminated the causes I can think of offhand.

I wonder how many sites in 7i43 require __fixunsdfdi. Perhaps a way
forward is to simply remove them. Here's the only possibility that I
found by inspection:

I've been running emc2 now for about four or five months. Other than get it
installed, set up my basic 3 axis machine, and run my nc files, I really
haven't done much experimenting with emc2. As I venture more and more into the
use of it I of course want to know more about it and it's
Hi,
I search Thomas Kaiser!
Sorry for offtopic, but i'd like some information about original controller.
Could you tell me in a few words, how to start this engine?
I've got one (faulty?), fixed some smaller problems, but don't know the right
start methode. Please help me, if you can!

Andy,
Thanks for pointing me in the (hopefully) right direction.
Ok.. Fiddling done.. You were VERY close to actual without having an
EMC machine handy.. I'm impressed.
When I get to starting up EMC, I get a message thatn axis.0.jog-enable
has already been assigned. I'm assuming that

Hi
I think there is a little incident because the problem come with (like email
object) hostmot2.ko module.
I'm realy sorry but of course I think the way to eliminate the call of
__fixunsdfdi
is the right one.
dmesg output:
[ 96.350361] HAL_LIB: kernel lib installed successfully
[ 96.460136]
OK, well, I'm out of guesses. I'm sorry I couldn't help.

From what I have read in the documentation, the G5x commands provide
X,Y,Z offsets, but not angular offsets.
I would like to apply small angle offsets to the G-Code for a part,
mounted on a 3 axis mill, to accommodate a fixture that is tilted in
some random way. What is the nicest way to do
