sounds like its just hard to get ahold of them.. but any ideas sing out. I think the motors on the cnc lathe are probably 4kw at a guess. On Thu, Apr 9, 2020 at 12:43 PM John Dammeyer wrote: > The STBML drives for AC servos aren't too hard to tune. Especially if the > encoder has a UVW output

The STBML drives for AC servos aren't too hard to tune. Especially if the encoder has a UVW output too. I was never able to satisfactorily tune the DC Servos with the STMBL drive. I went back to the HP_UHU drives with Henrik Olsson's dsPIC upgrade processor module. They work really nicely.

yuhai is similar. they link the drive to the motor with a motor code. I actually tried to get my heidenhain motors going first on yuhai drives. they tried to help me set it up and recommended the closest settings I could use for motor code. and I fitted one of their encoders on the back just a

Hi Andrew, The Bergerda sales support was excellent and any questions he couldn't answer went to his engineers. They came back with answers right away. I think there are now two classes of service from China. There is still the make a buck at any price group at the lowest level of quality

john you drives look very similar to mine lol the brand I use is yuhai. they are very good. 1 matched set 700w servo drive an motor is about 200 usd I think. that is just will the standard 2500 ppr encoders. but for $50 more you can get a 17 bit absolute encoder from japan or germany i

hey jon I actually have some of your servo drives here at the moment. they look pretty good. I haven't used them yet as they are two small and the chinese stuff runs straight from 400v three phase so I don't need a transformer. On Mon, Apr 6, 2020 at 1:47 PM Jon Elson wrote: > On 04/05/2020
