Jack,
I believe "Inkscape" will accept a scan and has a G-code module.
I haven't tried the G-code though.

Kirk,
I don't know what exactly you want to do for a business. It's obviously
something along the lines of cnc work. I don't have any experience in
that business but I can offer some general thoughts about finding work
and maintaining it.
Networking, word of mouth and referrals are best. Ask a

What font utilities will read .jhf files? In either Linux or MS Windows.
If I can ultimately get them into CAD then I can go from there.

Aram,
Looking closer at that link those are only the flange mounts. The
bearings are not included.
For a .311" shaft end they are also recommending 2 deep groove ball
bearings and not angular contact bearings.

Aram,
Those flange mount bearings coupled with a good anti-backlash nut will
give you a tight axis.
I still think that the flex in a long 3/8" leadscrew is something to
consider.

Aram,
Since you are only talking about cutting wood and plastic a standard
ball bearing would probably work.
Angular thrust bearings are hard to find in sizes smaller than 10mm Id.
The best way would be to support the leadscrew with 2 bearings, 1 on
each end and not a floating leadscrew with 1 b
Thank you, Bjorn,
I will look closely at your .ini file examples.
When I say 'shared home and limit' I mean physically the same switch. I
see that you address that.
This will give me something to start from .

YES, very much so.
EMC has _always_ been configured by editing ini and hal files. Stepconf

Good Evening,
I am working through the setup of my router table using the Stepconf
Wizard.
I have a question about how to configure my home and limit switches in
the wiz
I was just thinking that one possibility is I could not use the switches
as 'home' switches. Just call them limits and manually home each axis.

Is there another way I can set it up in the software?
