You have to specify the editor in your ini file. If your on Debian you
have to add Gedit.

I got the same problem when I made a new installation using the Debian
Wheezy package.
As John told you , you should specify the editor program you want to use
into the INI file.
Keep in mind that Debian comes with an editor called Mousepad .

You only really need a CAM package for parts that are contoured. I.E.
not regular OD, Face, Id and such. For the standard stuff I use NGCGUI
and LatheMacro. Both of these are found under the example configs.
For the contour stuff I use Cambam. The lathe module is not very strong

i have 3 identical drive that i bought from servodinamics and 2 of them
have paper stiker - say - lenze and one mark -servodynamic.
