just wanted to post alert that it seems upgrading to the latest redhat
8.0 XFree86 rpms break e 16.5-1 and 16.6-pre5 .. they will start, but
then promptly crash with segfault.
the break appears to be somewhere in the following XFree86 rpms:

Yes. The above sequence reproduces it perfectly for me. Perhaps it has
a similar set of sequences of key presses that made it happen for me
everytime. This was a frequent problem for me as I use keyboard
shortcuts a lot.
Is this a bug and can anything be done for it?
