Hi, here's the result of my first work on E's internals (and widgets):
i wrote a simple addon that allow to select a wallpaper directly from
get-e.org, actually only from static backgrounds.
Requirements:

How it works:

I'm very happy to see that my work are apprecia

useful for desktops. useful for small screen devices - openmoko/n800
etc. are perfect targets. just click and drag with your finger,
release. drag fast and releas and you get momentum and it continues for
a bit while it slows down. configurable via a new conf
nload_shutdown, that should
close gracefully libcurl processes. I'm very sorry but atm i don't have
either code or bt to attach. You can find the primary version in
another mail from me, just grep for "[RFC]" and "get-e.org integration"
in your e-devel mail folder.

As Ubuntu user, i vote for the frontend.
As FreeBSD user, i know that networkmanager isn't ready to run, but
seems that there's a lot of work to have HAL running on FreeBSD,
another vote for the frontend.

Hi, i'm here to talk about the desktop side of exchange.
For the moment we have only a small application, in very early stage,

requirement for abstract sockets? I need ecore only for evas,
evas-framebuffer and events capabilities (at this moment), there's a
way to disable this check?
Thanks

rrus toolchain sucks, but at this moment i've to use
it!
But now i've a little dubt: on x86 system with 2.4.xx kernel version,
it seems to me that the same ecore_fb_li.c can't compile, or in the
latest release of 2.4 tree there's a backport of linux2.6 input.h?

It seems that there's a name mistake related to tslib, the linker looks
for a wrong library. Some times ago Lars wrote a patch to fix this
issue, but it seems that it isn't on cvs... I'm wrong?

I think to be able to release (in a few days) a patch for easy_e17 to
set usable on FreeBSD.
Please apply, if it's correct!

't buld also: i think the problem is related
to ./configure script, it can't find some X extension (XKBrules and
XKBlib).
At this time i've skipped im my .easy_e17.conf .
It will be great if there were someone able to test it...

sent this bug to ml on 16/05, on 20/05 it was fixed by raster.
If you're using e17 from cvs it works, for other packaging dunno.
