all, I came back to enli after several years an now made all I thought to build a proper e18. But unfortunately configure claimed to have disabled wayland modules like desktop-shell. What do I need to make to get this working? running under gentoo or hand made thanks Stefan

Posting a full log without line-breaks is really not helpful. So I took the liberty to remove all that from the answer. Your problem is, that some measures have been added to the E build system to avoid certain features to be disabled or enabled. The USE-flags in the overlays do not yet consider
