Good day!
I was wondering, if anybody is using E17 with OpenGL rendering engine
as default? Is it stable in any way? At least workable? =)

Hi,
at the end of this mail you can find a patch that fixed the problem I mentioned
in my
previous mail.
I want to use the chance to say thank you to everyone that has helped to find
the
problem. My thank you goes to ... oh nobody has helped me ... so thank you
Gerald.

Can anyone tell me (or point to a reference) on how to get E16 to run
a script on startup (and on shutdown if possible).
The README-0.16.8 file in
Evan et al
$HOME/.e16/Init
$HOME/.e16/Start
$HOME/.e16/Stop
Note that this is new for 0.16.8. It does not work with 0.16.7 (which I
am using). It looks like getting my personal theme moved over to 0.16.8
may be a major headache. If so, I may just go to E17.

Yup :) How far is the implementation of Hardware/Software OpenGL
rendering? Of course the most interesting part of it would be the

Ok - sorry for being a bit quiet. I've had the flu and have been out of any

I've let this thread move along and see what people have to say. It seems there
is sufficient support to make this happen - and since we have bandwidth and
