Mail could not be sent using the account Johns Email Account.
A communication error has occurred.
Error 3260
Receiving mail is fine.
Any clues please. A reboot often fixes the problem

I have had similar-behaving errors, moreso when using a modem than broadband.
If Holt's situation arises from a modem, I would try something less daunting,
simply restarting the connection to see if that enables sending. It's worked
for me at times.
Recent boardband service interuptions at my

Actually Entourage doesn't import from Netscape 7, only Netscape 4.X. If
there's a way to export messages from Netscape 7 to MBOX format, that's
the best way to do it.

Several of us using both E 2001 and E x have been unable to send mail to AOL
addresses. Yet when we use Mail or Netscape the mail goes through. Anyone

Title: Re: Cannot send to AOL address
I dont use AOL, but I have heard that any time there is an update, e-mail gets messed up. E-mail subscribes of AOL sometimes cannot send and/or receive mail to and from certain ISPs.

Outlook 2001 doesn't support HTML mail, explaining why they wouldn't be
showing up properly. However, if you follow Paul's advice to import
messages into Entourage X, the HTML mail should be readable.

That said, Entourage still uses more CPU power than it should... even when
it's completely idle. But that's the case with either Jaguar or Panther.
I trust (and hope) that this will be rectified in the next major revision of
Entourage.

You may want to try Emailchemy...

It'll export Netscape mail to individual RFC822 messages or entire folders
to MBOX files. I've used it successfully to export mail from QuickMail Pro
for import into Entourage. It lists support for Netscape, but
