You must have not installed any of them. Check your menus. You should have a
multimedia menu, under it, you should have a sound menu.
There are a lot of mp3 players out there (and rippers). try:

It does, but it's an analog signal path, and the sound card doesn't
have to have working drivers for it to function. At least, that's
true for the one sound card I've written a driver for.
