shut up unless you are asked for your oppinion. I simply offered this stuff
for sale, not to get tread upon by some loudmouth nitwit who is not willing

I just bought a Creative Labs CDRW 8x 4x 32x and it works great with
Mandrake. I don't know about other distros but I used XCDRoaster without any
configuration and it worked the first time out.

Looks to me like Microsucks is scared of what Linux is doing to them in the
marketplace and obviously the fellow who did the talking is an idiot in

Ok, Now I am venturing into a realm of computing that I don't know much about.
I have need of a file server. Wheat is the best/least painful way to do this.
Security is an issue so please take that into consideration.
BTW, This will be networked with several Windblows computers.
Thanks.

Anyone ever figure out how to keep Netscape from sucking all the memory out of

I would like to use the Matrix screen saver as my background. However the

Any thoughts on how I may achieve this???

I am looking at changing isp's. I am looking for a dialup connection and DSL
as well. Anyone have any thoughts on who is the best? Of course if they
support Linux, so much the better...
Ron
WorldSpy does not as yet support Linux. However I informed them about the
percentages of the market that the Linux crowd hold and the fellow I spoke
with said he would pass the info along.

I think I would use the 25% rule. If you do 25% or more of a production, you
can call it yours. hehe
So, change the colors a shade or two. The letters UO while legally
copyrightable, are rather ambiguous so might not ruffle any feathers. Add a
