Hello Dave,
The Leaf or Nissan Battery specs , Module specs, and Cell specs can be found at:
http://www.electricvehiclewiki.com/?title=Battery_specs
I am using 81 modules which are parallel series for 200 ah at 226 volts. Each
module has 4 cells where 2 in series pair in parallel or 8.4

I think some vehicles have the speed sensor on the transmission output
shaft, since that has a fixed relation to vehicle speed with the diff
ratio and wheel circumference. If the transmission is removed, no speed
sensing is available until you mount a wheel speed sensor or a pickup on

The Leaf is spec'ed for 90kW and I have heard people test it for being
able to deliver 110kW on a fairly new pack. Keep in mind that as cells
degrade, their internal resistance goes up and that is why the Leaf will
actually restrict power and regen braking on degraded packs!

Does anyone know the maximum safe current that a Leaf Module can supply?

A wheel speed sensor? You found a car without a speedometer? I mean, it is
proportional. I removed my tach gauge once I knew what speed produced what RPM.

It's not clear if you are asking me, but I'll answer anyway! :-)
I bought 120 used Leaf Modules.
My truck pack is configured as groups of 3 modules in parallel, with 40
Can you give me some details on the Leaf pack that you put together?
Thanks
