One of the biggest problems that EV trucks have is the drastically reduced range when towing. Using enourmous battery packs is an expensive solution to this occasional problem. I really think Chevy should bring back their Voltec system for use in small SUVs/pickups to make long distance

Ford F-150. Others, too, I think, but I’m not sure who. But since the Ford is the top-selling... I expect there will also be some fuel cell pickups from Toyota (I’ve seen/touched a demo), and I would expect Honda, too. Should be plenty of EV choices in not-too-long! - Mark Sent from my Fuel

I think this may be one of the cases where conversation might work. Find a totaled Tesla S and do a transplant. My Jet 750 worked well and basically it was a conversation. Otherwise a Cybertruck is looking good. The cheapest would meet your needs. Lawrence Rhodes -- next part

F150 is a big inefficient truck , not for me. I’ve had Rangers since the early 80s 30mpg so would make a more efficient EV (not the new big Ranger) Mark E Hanson Sent from my iPhone > On May 4, 2020, at 3:42 PM, Mark Abramowitz wrote: > > Ford F-150. > > Others, too, I think, but I’m not

There are a lot of Chevy S-10 conversions floating around (most originally Lead Acid batteries, some converted to LiIon) if you are willing to buy a used conversion. Jay On 5/4/20 4:46 PM, Peter VanDerWal via EV wrote: "Bloated/pricy"? I agree that seems to describe the Rivian, but the

"Bloated/pricy"? I agree that seems to describe the Rivian, but the Cybertruck seems pretty cheap for what you get. The cheap version is only a couple thousand more than a base model F-250 and the mid priced cyber truck is similar in price to an F-250 with similar features (all wheel drive,
