Ok, I'm back after some pretty big email problems. I took the time to do a more complete analysis of my needs. I'll start with the deal killers. If I can't do them, then I'll just scrap the vehicle and go find a used Leaf. Pull my boat out of the water. Boat and trailer come in at about 800 kg.

My opinion is that an EV from a mainstream ICE manufacturer is 'real' when I see ads on TV and reviews by the regular car columnist in local papers. I give companies like Tesla a pass because of their start up nature and the simple fact that they don't do ICE.  Ron -- Original
