How many total miles do you have?
I know that Nissan had (early on, at least) recommended against regular use of
a fast charger as it would degrade the battery.
I’m curious to learn if you’ve had this very small degradation after a lot of
mileage, or if you are seeing it after only 10k miles,
Sounds worth the small dip for the decreased charge time.

What impact will using a fast charger have on battery life?

My wife... ah... tested this out by backing into a trailer with a 2013
Leaf. The bumper panels
Using my distance traveled and the guessometer I am still within the EPA range.

We have noticed a small dip in range of both our Leafs. However we can with
non aggressive driving see 100 miles on the 24 kw and 150 miles on the 30 kw.
We have driven both cars hard in the summer months going to San Diego from San

Check out plugshare.com, or the plugshare mobile app for locations of chargers.
If you buy a LEAF with the DC fast charge connector, and if there is a fast
charge station on the way, you won't have to charge long.
There is a Seattle area LEAF owner's group on Facebook that is very helpful.

You need plugshare and plan your route in advance. Oregon has a fine system of
fast chargers on the I5. We have driven our 2013 from San Diego to San
Francisco many times. Only has a 84 mile range but we squeeze out a hundred in
a pinch. Don't bother with 2011/12 Leafs. If you can get a 30 or

The easiest way to transport a Leaf from another city would be to simply
drive it. 70 miles can be driven in one go. If it's farther, drive (say)
50 miles, stop, and plug it in somewhere to recharge. Most Nissan
dealers have free 240v charging,
