A criticism to the whole idea.
We actually do not have a definition of observer. We don't know what
structure is needed for consciousness and even what phenomenon is the basic
cause of a mental entity.
In such an atmosphere one can oppose in the same (somehow in-scientific)

I haven't seen the video yet, but I guess what you said are the words of
mysterians.
They believe that we can not solve some problems at all (mainly the
mind-body problem), as if it's like teaching quantum physics to monkeys.
You'd not accomplish that, because they're incapable of understanding

Hi,
I'd say that I'm more sure of my own existence than anything else.
Even if consciousness is an illusion, this illusion still is and need
explanation... This illusion ask question about herself I can hear my

Various projects exist today aiming at building a true Artificial
Intelligence. Sometimes these researchers use the term AGI, Artificial
General Intelligence, to distinguish their projects from mainstream AI
which tends to focus on specific tasks. A conference on such projects

I'd like to add a definition of consciousness.
Consciousness is the inner narative composed of sounds/images/feelings which
present itself as 'I'. What is (the origin/meaning) of 'I', I don't know,
but 'I' is the consciousness.
