I have to say that I like these mockups a lot more than the current
Evolution/Outlook look-and-feel. It looks very clean. But why not, as
you are rewriting the ui anyway, make totally separate applications of
each view like Apple does it with Mail and iCal. The different applications are

Evolution 1.3.x are the beta versions for 1.4, so most hints on 1.3

I suceeded upgrade evolution 1.0.8 to ver 1.4.3 with command line
# wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh
It went through without problem. All email boxes remain intact.
