we have a dialup connection to our ISP for downloading mail, however its
been very flaky and intermittently connects and sometimes it doesnt. You
can hear teh moddem dialout fine and making a connection.
the errors we get are:
0x0318 Pop response -ERR authorization failed
0x033b Socket
When one of our emplyee sends attachments to clients, they are not able to
see any attachments or who the message has been sent from, . I created
his profile from another machine and got teh same problem. Another user
sent the same same message from his profile and the client receives it OK.

these CSV files. THe DL's will need to be modified abit to match the new
org and just add the old x500 addresses so that old mail doesnt bounce
back.

The Move Server Wizard is what you're looking
Couple of my users are getting Message Delayed messages back for some
domains that they send mail to. i.e. returned after a certain number of
retries. Below is an example of the details. Has anyone come across this
and know whats happening as I cannot find anything on it.

Have you tried sending a telnet message from port 25, some systems will
reject you after you enter the mail from field or may even wait until you
send the data command.

We use netbackup from Veritas as a backup solution. when we perform
mailbox backups we get the following error on some mailboxes. I have
looked and dealt with veritas and they are saying its an exchange issue

Then start the services. You do not have to do a isinteg -patch for
online restores.
If its Offline , thehn its pretty straight forwards provided your backups
are realiable.

try running this from your actual server, the best way is to log in as the
exchange service account onto the server and then use exmerge. I have
encountered this error below and when I tried runnning exmerge from a
different server - it seemed to work ? - dont know why it worked. :-(
