Hi all,
Guys, I got a lot of technical/knowledgebase type messages I
As far as I kow, Outlook requires Full Read/Write to any .pst file. Since
CD-Media will not allow this, you are SOL. I'm not sure if Re-writable CD's
will work considering the much slower access time.

Just make a folder on the cd and move the messages to that folder on the
cd.

That won't work - CD's are read only. You need R/W access to the PST. You
should have one, but
no one wants to use yours. - Paul Hurst, Swynk Exchange List Member

Serdar
Once you got the messages onto CD; most usually via a .pst file, you wouldnt
be able to read them from the CD. The files get marked as read only once
burned onto disk. You could archive off your mailbox, put them to CD and
then copy from CD to your hard drive whenever you wish to view them.
