Or, upgrade to Ex2k, and use the restore deleted mailbox function.

The script is not Y2K compliant. Notice in the 2nd line it references
8/15/98. Clearly to be Y2K compliant the year needs to be in a 4 digit
format. Also the month should be 2 digits as well. So 08/15/1998 would be

backup up a corrupt database for months.[1] Since you're only doing offline
backups, your transaction logs
The Exchange agent allows these programs to do an on-line backup of the
databases, so the Exchange services don't have to be shut down.

The agent's sole purpose is not to allow for BLB type backups. It is two
allow for Exchange Aware backups which allows you to do online backups.
