Nav for Exchange in VAPI mode (or mixed with Mapi) is not actually causing a
corruption but is rather causing a latency with how it scans mail. There is
a setting to scan mail in the background which will scan all messages in

I would agree,this comes from someone managing a 10,000 users 6 exchange
server site with no back up and no certs (and no problems). Experience
is where it is at.

There is a Q article that talks about exchange 2000 servers running on Advanced server
that have 1GB+ of RAM needing the /3GB switch in the boot.ini but only Advanced
Server not Server.
