diskdrake is the gui disk partitioning program you see when you first

Has anyone had trouble running Netscape 4.75 with the kernel 2.4.0
(pre-release) that comes with Mandrake 7.2? Strangely enough, it seems
to crash the mail module... Maybe I didn't compile it correctly. Does

Although I know that PPTP is insecure, it is what I have to work with. It is

The customer is considering implementing Linux in other environments, and

Although the apps within my autostart folder do work when clicked on, they
are not started by Mandrake 7.2 on boot up and login.
Is the autostart folder non functional in kde 2 ?

illiterate. I have 2 Linux boxes on our network, my laptop(Mandrake 7.02)
and my "server" (Mandrake 7.1). I'd like to be able to access directories
on our network with these machines, how would I go about doing this?

Subject describes the problem.. When I am connected to a remote system,
the backspace is being translated as a delete
key and the del is translated as some escape sequence.
Anyone know how to change this?? It isnt in any of the options under
konsole that I have found.

In my install of Mandrake 7.2, xscreensaver seems to be missing several

I installed Mandrake 7.2 with low security settings, and I have the same
problem with my USB Intellieye. It worked fine under install and after install
as well, because I go into initlevel 5 right away. But after a while, when
DPMS switches off my system, by the time it wakes up, the system is fro
You have to go to etc/hosts/ and keep the loopback local ip address there, and
change user@localhost to what you whant but keep localdomain.
You can also change the hostname in linuxconf's network settings (but check
/etc/hosts for the above! After reboot you will have your new hostname...
