Although I do sorely miss Kups. What did Kups have that the current KDE 3.01 Control Center's printing system does not? I'm curious because it seems to me that 3.01 is more feature rich than Kups is/was. The only thing I can think of is that it's hidden somewhat in the KDE Control Center's menus

I have a new Mdk 8.2 server that is handling FTP and POP 3 services, the initial connect takes a very long time, up to a minute. Once the connection is made it is super fast, but it is the connection that is taking forever. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to tweak it?
