LM7.2 comes with 2.2.17 version of the linux kernel. This kernel has support for the emu10k chip. But I guess it does not include support for the joystick driver (I am not very sure about it.). That's the reason there is no "emu10k1-joy" in the stock LM7.2 If you can compile creative's emu1
