I have a lot of files under a directory (/home/aravind/test). What is a quick way of
creating an rpm out of these
files to be installed in /usr/local/test (for an eg). I dont want to go to any build
process (they are binary files).
I dont have the time to go through the 'Maximum RPM'

I just intsalled Mandarke 7.2 . I chose the development option
during install. Everything looks great but everything has slowed down.
I run KDE2. The boot up process takes long when I view the memory it is
taking up in my KDE control panel (they have this thing now )
