It was the routing of fairfield Super Radiance..
Sidhas told to leave group meditation, to ‘go home’.
A profound failure in leadership, it was incredulous to see happen.
..The flood of meditators out of the Dome group program in retreat.

We are told that we should bathe and fast starting two hours before the

drawn meditating and chanting in this case solar mantras like Gayatri and
Aditya Hrdayam or studying shastra etc. Two hours after the eclipse, take
another bath and you can eat. All food turns to ama during an eclipse. Any
activity to manifest something should be avoided three days before and three
days after a total eclipse like this. And for the next six months on the day

Yes, and standing outside the doors in the shade of the Dome’s door portico
during the air inversion of the dimmed sun was unique. Anyone was free to walk
out and look at the sun. However the meditation inside the Dome right from the
start of the eclipse was particularly unique.

I don't think people ==should== be outside. I think they should do what feels

I really wasn't up to the 13 hour drive out to Casper WY, where the skies would
have been clear. I knew I'd be settling for partly cloudy weather from Nebraska

parked in the Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area, where there was a small crowd of
other like-minded folks.

It took an hour and change from the start until totality, and when that last
little bit of sun disappeared, it was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The
shared experience in the crowd was that words can't describe the magnificence
of it. It was one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. Pure,
awe-inspiring glory of Nature. Amazing.

Points regarding the Solar Eclipse on August 21

We have received several emails asking about recommendations from the Maharishi
JyotishSMCouncil for appropriate activities during the upcoming solar eclipse
on August 21.

Recommendations from the Maharishi Jyotish Council

1. It’s recommended to not begin important projects or special events on this
day, as Nature will not be as supportive. The most life-supporting activities
recommended during an eclipse are those which bring the attention inward.

2.

it is recommended to not take food during the approximately 3-hour period from

Points regarding the Solar Eclipse on August 21

We have received several emails asking about recommendations from the
Maharishi JyotishSMCouncil for appropriate activities during the upcoming solar
eclipse on August 21.
Recommendations from the Maharishi Jyotish Council
 1. It’s recommended to not begin important projects or special events on this
day, as Nature will not be as supportive. The most life-supporting activities
recommended during an eclipse are those which bring the attention inward.

 2. It’s better to stay inside during the time that the eclipse is visible
where you are. You can find out when that is by visiting

While I have been inwardly ambivalent whilst having fun figuring out the
details of travel down to Missouri to the eclipse we just had two big time
astrology and jyotish people separately contact us about the eclipse and charts
after their seeing the travel memo to Arrow Rock below.

I've posted elsewhere some of the silliness on the west coast as the
California state power authority issued a request for citizens to reduce
their use of power during the eclipse due to reduced solar power
generated. The effect of the eclipse on solar power generation should be
about the same as a cloudy day. And they don't issue notifications
every cloudy but lets not give them any ideas. :-D

You can find out when that is by visiting
www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/
http://click.icptrack.com/icp/relay.php?r=51714648=1654867=79XZ=329287=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.timeanddate.com%2Feclipse%2F
and entering your city and state. In Fairfield, it is from 11:45 am to 2:37 pm.
 3. According to the knowledge of Maharishi Jyotish, the planet Surya (Sun) is
cosmically connected to digestive fire and Chandra (Moon) to the assimilation
of food. So it is recommended to not take food during the approximately 3-hour
period from start to finish of the solar eclipse.

Offices for all of their guidance.

Right now, the weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies along the
path of totality in Missouri. I'm gonna keep an eye on it and figure out where
I'll drive to. The best bet is a 13 hour drive out to Casper WY, but I'm not up
for that. I may drive 6 hours out to Nebraska if it'll make for clearer skies.

Car caravan departing 5am on the 21st from Fairfield.

Subject: Arrow Rock / Eclipse Totality

Historic Village site on the Missouri River, 200 miles south of Fairfield

Right smack on the line of Totality!

 Arrow Rock, Missouri

The village is on the National Registry of Historic Places,

Lots of restored buildings and lots of history.

Charming little town. They are preparing for eclipse visitors.

A couple of 19th Century churches to harmony sing in too.

By phone call, a local suggested coming across the Missouri River at Glasgow
southwest of Moberly.

Arrow Rock. It should be interesting fun to just walk around the village
while we wait. Read the history links.
