I didn't say you were looney, Share.  You did.  Are you calling me looney?  I
won't argue; I'm very fond of the loon and its mournful wail. This will
remind you:

I said you could try connecting your mind with your heart, because in your
case, I believe that would help you out.  And remember Share, I never give any
advice to others' I don't give myself.  What do your experts say about the
karma that you and I have?

Emily, here's a question for you: who's loonier, the poster who's allegedly
looney, me, or the poster who continues to read the posts of the alleged looney
one?!

La la la.Share, it is amazing the volume of posts that you send that say
absolutely nothing.  Look for your heart, Share, and connect it with your mind.
Your brain is wired poorly (so is mine, so don't feel badly) and your mind is
operating with a certain level of insanity that you don't seem to see.  You
need to stop thinking and start feeling - internally, not externally.

Emily, I think it's wonderful the knowledge and skill that people have been
sharing and I'm so glad so many have made it through neo and just hope that
Obbajee and salyavin are soon in that group.

Share, did you ever thank Judy for taking the lead on informing us as a group
and responding to individual questions re: how to navigate Neo?  Given your
fervent thank you's to so many others', perhaps one for Judy would have been
in order, instead of post after post from you in the early stages of this major
change, containing nonsense (on a topic you know absolutely nothing about) and
interfering in the attempts by the smarter ones to figure things out, followed
by bickering and pouting when she and Alex both asked you to restrain yourself
due to the ongoing confusion.  For the good of the all and the individual,
thank goodness Alex and Judy stood up to the plate on this.  No need to react
to this Share...just internalize it.

Judy, the signal to noise analogy does not apply because that involves
necessarily perceiving both, whereas no one necessarily has to read my posts,
especially if they perceive them as noise.  Secondly, salyavin seems to have
left the group for TWO major reasons.

Phew, that blows my mind. The very idea. If I had only known with such
certainty the influences on my every move, let alone such a big move as getting
initiated, I would have been a lot more careful. As it is, I have no idea what
is happening in the solar system or, indeed, the entire Universe so I guess I'm
toast.

As you know, Share, I was asking you questions about what the hell you were
saying, because it didn't make any sense. You really aren't capable of making a
straightforward comment about software. You just babble about this and that
because you want to have something to say; you don't know what's significant
and what's trivia, and a great deal of what you say is just plain wrong.

And no, nobody with any brains is looking to you for guidance regarding
software. That doesn't mean you don't introduce gross confusion into the
discussions that interferes with folks' ability to get answers to their
questions from others.

As far as software is concerned, your contributions are noise, not signal.

Well, let's look at this comment.

To click on the URL in Buck's post, you have to have clicked on the post
itself, which you claimed explicitly that you hadn't done.

If you *did* click on Buck's post (contrary to what you said to start with),
and then on the URL in Buck's post, as you say now, you saw a page listing
messages. This was what you called a short list, saying you had wondered why
it was so short when there were many years' worth of FFL posts. That rather
strongly suggests you did *not* try clicking on Earlier messages (which is at
the top as well as at the bottom, just BTW), because if you had,  you'd have
seen that it wasn't a short list.

Then you switched to saying the list was *in* Buck's post, which it wasn't.

As to Alex's comment, you were replying (I use the term loosely) to my
questions *about what you had been saying and asking about in your posts*, to
me and to others, because what you had been saying and asking wasn't making any
sense--and still isn't (see above, and below as well).

In quoting Alex's comment, I meant to echo his suggestion that you stay out of
this software discussion *unless you have some real issues* that are hampering
your ability to post. That does not seem to be the case, and you don't seem
able to follow the other software discussions or make any sensible comments
about them. You just say whatever random thought pops into your head without
making any effort to ensure that it makes sense or is relevant, or even that
it's consistent with what you've said previously.

If you *do* encounter an issue and ask about it, we'll do our best to figure
out what you're asking and give you some answers. But you are not contributing
anything at all to solving the issues others have--to the contrary, in fact.

I guess you haven't been reading the traffic, then. A lot of people haven't
been able to negotiate Neo smoothly. Salyavin just left because he couldn't
deal with it. Other people haven't been posting at all. Your noise degrades the
signal for those who need it. Please find something to talk about other than
the software.
