Has anyone noticed that no one has replied to
a single post enlightened_dawn11 has made in
over a week?

15 posts, and no one thought that *any* of them
were worth commenting on or responding to. Seems
to me that, given what folks here obviously think
of him, he must be feeling lonely, so I'm replying
out of pity.

And some say I have no compassion...

is that what this is about, Turq? seeing how much ATTENTION we can drum up?
who's the ATTENTION WHORE here anyway? you or the rest of us? lol

maybe ATTENTION is what FFL is all about for you, bub- like i said you take
this place a LOT more seriously than the rest of us do...

now, please for your imagined legion of readers, tell me all about my motives
for posting and how superior you are in comparison -- i'll just go get myself a
beer while you meditate on your future wisdom and flex your wizened fingers,
for the next installment of CHANNEL TURQ- All Turq, All The Time...

urp...

No need. I'm sure everyone has their own
theory about why you post, and as a woman.
That may actually have something to do
with why so few respond to you...most on
this forum are men and most men are a bit
wary of being come onto by a guy wearing
a dress.

One thing even you have to admit about the
Turq Channel is that it's got loyal viewers.

There are at least five or six of you here
who read every word I write, searching des-
perately for some tidbit to reply to with
a gotcha.

Some might begin to wonder, after literally
*years* of you guys doing this, whether the
operating emotion serving to motivate you
might not be anger, but jealousy.

Sure seems like a possibility to me.

And heck...I've never even claimed to be
enlightened, like you have. One would think
that someone enlightened would be beyond
jealousy. Go figure. :-)

Hey, Barry's now keeping a spreadsheet on ed11 too.

Trouble is, it's not working too well. She's actually
had several replies. And that's even though most of
those 15 posts have been one-liner drive-bys.

(Most of them were aimed at Barry, so it's no surprise
he's trying to discourage her from posting by pretending
nobody's paying attention to her. Except him, of course;
he's obviously paying *very* close attention indeed.)

No need to search, let alone desperately.

just...a...little...more...ATTENTION...

As my gift to all, I have decided to offer myself up for all on FFL who need a
victim - similar to what I did in my previous incarnation in what has become
widely known as the doctrine of atonement in most Christian churches

For this week only - ending on Friday at 3:00 pm local time (TGIGF) - all who
need a victim can blame me.

Science
PS As we now have technologies we did not have in my last incarnation, I will
only atone virtually.

All you need to do is to post the actions for which you wish to receive
atonement on FFL. It is not even necessary that you contact me.

Obviously ! In general Buddhists have nothing much to say. Dolly Lama says it
all when he says nothing but is all smiles and generalities. So they resort to
attention-grabbing. On FFL the twin brothers Vaj and the Turq comes to mind.

Hey Listen, Dolly Parton doesn't have much to say, either...

Did I miss a previous post, or did Nabby just end his self imposed exile. I
know he's been posting articles, but until now, I don't believe he's made any
first person comments. I suspect we'll be hearing a lot more of him now. But
of course, he will be doing it for our benefit. Nature will have pushed him
to do it.

Cliff Rees left and didn't return, but I am guessing that it had more to do
with him likely steering another company into bankrupcy. We'll probably get a
book out it, where somehow he'll be the hero.
