So, Fedora 9 will include Echo icons (surely) - I must to be ready for
Tangoish-Attack (Tangoish icons replacing all Fedora icons and pixmaps

As has been said already, that decision will be made depending on how
well the theme coverage is among other factors. You might want to avoid
making such assertions on your own.
Other icon themes can very well exist

Hey,
There was another topic here (Echo bad) where i filed my list of
complaints about alot of the current echo icon theme. One of them is
the package-x-generic icon (or just the update/box icon). So i grabbed
the SVG and edited it here and there. I also changed the sizes a
little (fatter border

i will make a second attempt and this time with those icon guidelines

In my opinion it is better to use Mist iconset even in F9, F10 etc.
Don't you think it is premature given neither release is out and there

Echo on this stage aren't ready. Also, Echo will be messing

Oke new attempt.
I've really outdone myself.. this image is made from scratch
I think it looks better and it fits the echo theme (or that's my opinion)
Take a look at the images [1] (16x16), [2] (64x64), [3] (128x128), [4]
(256x256) and the SVG [5].
The whole box idea is changed in this image.
Oke..
i adjusted some of the critics
- Fatter border
- no transparency
- changed the light a little
- changed the shadow a little
- changed overall color gradients a little
I can't make it so that the box would be gap less when you would close
it.. but that's to much of detail for just an icon...
BTW, are you the guy who attended at Libre Graphics Meeting 2007 at
Montreal
with cellphone drawing demonstration using Inkscape?

I'm a new subscriber to this list. Fedora artwork rocks! I always feel
that folks glancing over my shoulder will see a really sophisticated
desktop.
But (of course, there's a 'but') a recent Fedora default theme sets
