May 25 16:37:07 delo kernel: transcode[22214]: segfault at 40 ip 001f4
Hi all,
I can't understand why, but transcode on my fedora 9 terminate everytime
with a segmentation fault.
I remember also that I stopped using transcode before for the same
reason but now, for simplicity, i would like to use dvdrip.
The command executed is:
transcode -H 10 -a 0 -x vob,nu

You can manage the dependencies in the following way, downloading
dvdrip-0.98.8-2.fc8.i386 into your HD
and then invoking yum to install:
yum install dvdrip-0.98.8-2.fc8.i386,
so yum will resolve all the dependencies it needs to finally install
your rpm package.
Does it help? I do not know, but

Well, with yum you will be able to install dvdrip without problem: yum
install dvdrip
Other way is to pick the rpm package here:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/6025655/com/dvdrip-0.98.8-2.fc8.i386.rpm.html
I think they are simple ways to install. Or there is another problem?
Good luck

Anyone else running into problems using dvdrip to rip DVDs? This used
to work just fine for me a few weeks ago, but now whenever I try to
rip anything, it fails with the following output:
tcprobe -i /home/netllama/dvd/sendak/vob/001/
[fileinfo.c:118] file read error: No such file or directory
