Nautilus Previews Selectively Shut Off

Hello, Here is my situation: I have an encfs filesystem. Nautilus is saving previews in ~/.thumbnails. This is a source of information leakage. Is there a way to shut off the preview/thumbnail generation for that particular filesystem (globally or directory by directory)? Thank you, Trever
