Problem is that I don't have family here and few friends that I have are not cat lovers.
Had a bad experience with cat sitter. She was suppose to come by twice a day and I came home early and caught her here at around 2:00 that afternoon. It was suppose to be in the morning and in the afternoon. I
I have just switched to Innova Roasted Chicken and then I also got some Felidae. I wonder which one is best? How about this Balance one?[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Hi,
I just tried to switch my diabetic kitty who also has IBD and he really
liked the food but his
stomach didnt. Maybe he ate it too fast, but I will have to watch more
closely and see if he can
tolerate it. They want Shades on it for the diabetes but we dont want the
IBD to flare up.

the other option is to just get an rv and take the cats WITH you -- that's the
only option I would consider :)
Hubby goes to vegas every year for 3 or 4 days, I stay home with the cats.

Hi Nina,
Tessa sounds like a darling. I know it's tough to keep them separated,
but you'll feel better about
making sure you've taken the necessary precautions.
Oh, we're definitely keeping them seperate until the vaccine kicks in,
I was mostly wondering if it was safe after that, cause
Thank you, Chris, that's very reassuring!

Well, she's been around my other 3 cats for all her life they were never

Lisa,
I am so sorry. We are never ready for their time
when it comes. I hope the passing is peaceful. I am glad for you that you
found her and knew such love.

You're definitely one of us!
You bet. I am dreading going away in July---it's to see my parents in
the UK who are unable to travel any more, and my sisters, nieces,
nephews, old friends, etc etc and I should be really looking forward to
it--but I'm far too worried about how my cats will be looked
Jenn,
I've gotten a couple of bags too. Unfortunately, the only size bag
available around here seems to be the 2lb for $8. I'll have to special
order anything larger. Everyone seems to love it. I've been putting
small bowls of it next to their regular dry, (Solid Gold), and they go
for it
Thanks!! I try. Not easy with a full time job,
and a boyfriend in two bands that I have to get to practices and gigs and be a
roadie for!
Since I'm re-replying to this thread, I'd just like to add
that I had a negative household, then I took in a stray who was positive, and
she had
Jenn,
So, you're not only an exemplary cat-mom, your an excellent girlfriend
too!
I'm sorry to hear about Moogie and her Momma. What were Moogie's
complications? I lost my Jazz at 18 mos too. I'm guessing the fur-mom
of my pos litter also died. Before I knew their status, I used to
wonder

What happened with Ginger at the internist's yesterday?

For the first week of it's release, all anyone had was the
small bags. Try calling around now, my local vet got the bigger bags in this
past Thursday.
I'm not sure what Mythic is allergic to, I never did the
entire allergy panel testing on him, but this seems to be helping, and IF it
cures
Jenn,
please tell me about Innova EVO. Helene

I'm so sorry...everyone has pretty much said what I would have said. I have shed some tears as I type this to you and the group. I remember when you first joined and ask many questions on how to keep Akira healthy. You are doing the most loving thing by letting her go at home surrounded

My sister is not married to my brother-in-law. I see why you would
think that though by the way I wrote that!
They'd kill each other. They get along fine, but they would never
have made it as a couple. Rocky is married now though. His wife is
more of a cat lover than he is, but he takes
Hi Jenn,
I'm sure you've got a lot of replies already. If I were in your situation I would keep them separated until your 3 year old cat gets the felv vaccine and booster. Then wait maybe 2 more weeks after that, and let the cats be together. That's what I have done with no transmission so far

Dear Michelle
I just logged on to ask you about Ginger, so I'm glad to find your update.
Am praying as hard as I can that today's surgery does solve the problem, and
she's able to start eating again as soon as her poor mouth recovers from the
surgery. (I wonder how long that normally takes?) I
Oh poor Ginger! 10 teeth all at once. Are they keeping her dopey on
pain meds? Wasn't Belinda just saying how one of her positives had most
of her teeth removed, recovered and has been doing fine ever since?
Come on Ginger, stay strong baby.
