Bramble went to the vet yesterday. He is probably bodering was was not
considered to be too dehydrated - he does still drink water though, he was given
some sub-Q fluids but would only tolerate 45ml. The vet gave me some Hills a/d
food to syringe feed him and we have put him on periactin to

Dear Friends,
I tried to get thru my overflowing (months!) of email and it just wasn't going to happen. I can see that we have suffered some terrible losses and my heart goes out to everyone who has lost a beloved companion; I hope your memories will comfort you. It also seems that we have new
Julie You have been in my thoughts and not
hearing from you in a long time, I worried the worst ... sounds like you are
hovering about there (worst) ... hopefully that worst is over and you, hubby,

Thank you so much, Del. I missed you all! I am really hoping for some smooth sailing for a while

I say to all of that but gees, that really sucks! Where in the NE are you? I'm

Hi Jenn,
So nice to "meet" you! Thanks so much for all the kinds words! I'm in northeastern Connecticut; not too terribly far from you.
Thanks so much for the support group suggestion; Brownie was blind before his eyes were removed and he has his area of the FIV+ room marked off with a baby
Dear Joan,
Thanks so much; I've so missed everyone!

What an ordeal you have all had. I am glad it has all ended well for the
humans and the felines in your family and hope it continues to get better.
Despite things having been overlooked in your husbands

Julie,
I am sorry to hear about you husband's problems, but I am happy that you both are getting back to normal (whatever that means). You have had one Hell of a year so far, I just hope with all my being that the remainder goes better for you and yours.

Hi Cherie,
Thanks so much for your kind words and good vibes for Tater Tot; I'm so worried about him.
You're absolutely right; the kitties were a wonderful comfort. When Steve was taking pain medication, he'd nap several times a day and he had LOTS of company. In fact, they all wanted to know
That would be wonderful, Joan! Happy to year your Tator Tot is doing fine!"Doljan, Joan" [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Hi Nina
No no-one has discussed valium - I'll see how he goes for a couple of days
- he has his second bout of interferon from thursday. I'll mention it to the vet
when I see her.
Thanks
Michelle, bramble, Minstrel Buddy
That is so ironic, since it is the opposite here. I do not think there are benefits to doing Alpha instead of Omega.

Julie,
I'm so happy that your husband is doing better. You are very lucky. Complication from diabetes can quickly take your loved ones from you. You have to be on top of diabetes all the time, we can't always trust the medical profession to be.
I'm sure Brownie and Tator Tot are on there way
I dont know if it stays longer or
not but I understand that advantages of using Omega over Alpha is that
when using for a long term, with Alpha, kitties will eventually become immune
to Alpha, therefore, it will not be as effective, but it will not be the case
with Omega??
Thank you so much, Sheila. You're right; one has to be hyper-vigilant all the time. It can be exhausting. I could really go for some dullness!
Take care, Julie

Yes, there are reasons to use Omega over Alpha. Someone seemed to want to use Alpha over Omega, which I did not understand.

Hi Everyone,
I've been trying to work backwards through the archives to see what's been happening on this front, but I'm afraid I'll miss something depending on how i word my search argument, so I thought I'd just ask. I know some folks were getting permission to have it imported; how do you feel
I imported to the U.S. with special dispensation. I ordered it for Simon who was going through chemo for lymphoma, but he died just before it arrived. I used it for Ginger (5 one vial doses on consecutive days) before she had major dental surgery. She got a bad URI after the surgery, so it did

Has brought you, homeless, to my gate
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter, warmth and food?
For from that day I ceased to be

Oh, what
I think I should just clarify this interferon question a little. As you
know the animal sanctuary that Bramble came from pay the vet bill for his FIV
related problems - and that bill must be quite substantial already.
It is not that I want to use Alpha over Omega - and would be happier to
