The folks on the feral list I peek in on once in a while were just
discussing ant deterrents. Some of the suggestions were:
diatomaceous earth (the type for use with pets, not the swimming
pool kind), ground cinnamon (sprinkled around doorways and windows to
keep them outside, food dishes
