Have them make sure she isn't constipated it may be that she is
blocked and only the watery part of her bowel movements are getting
through since what you described isn't normal diarrehia, throwing up is
also a symthom of this. There is something called mega-colon which can
be deadly if not
today.

Actually if a cat is repeatedly vomiting vets usually say to remove food
for 24 hours. While cats should not go 48 hours without eating due to risk
of fatty liver disease, 24 hours is ok (and they commonly go without food for 24
hours when they have surgery and need to be fasted
