Hi Everyone...
I just wanted to thank everyone for all your help and kindness and tell you
that Wowie passed yesterday morning. He declined very quickly and we had tried
the pred shot but it didn't help this far along. I was home with him and he was
in my arms when he passed away. I miss him so

What counts is what you did for Wowie. You loved and cared for him and made
his life wonderful.

Rebecca,
I am so sorry to hear about Wowie. I know how much
you loved that little furball and he was SO lucky to
have found you and been spoiled by you these past
months. You were so enamored with him. It's a
blessing to both of you that you were able to be with
him when he passed on. I know
I am so sorry.

All I can tell you is about my experiences
for
a second opinion. He knew and was familiar with all that was recommended. I
found out that the steroids my vet had given me for wowie were Prenisolone as
Kris had mentioned NOT Prednisone. She did not give him an injection of this,
but instead gave him the chewable bites which he took happily
Sounds like you've found a wonderful vet - I am so glad...and very glad too
that Wowie is doing better!

Hi All-
I had written a few days ago to ask about teeth. I took Wowie to the vet
yesterday and he is not eating but not beacuse of his teeth. He is not well and
in fact, his health has taken a turn for the worst. The prognosis is not good
and neither is my state of mind. I have to make
Hi Rebecca,
I am so saddened to hear your news about Wowie. I
can't believe it's so soon that he's taken a turn for
the worst, but please don't give up hope. Did the vet
say what type of anemia Wowie has? Regenerative or
non-regenerative? It's important to know this. You
said his RBC count
about all the other drugs, etc. that can aid your kitty as they have more
experience than I do with them. But I will tell you, at least in my
experience, that it ain't over 'til it's over!! Best wishes to you and
Wowie.
